On the 12th of January St. Gerard's school in Port-au-Prince was levelled to the ground, following the catastrophic earthquake. Three hundred children and six teachers died as the school collapsed. The school is now back in operation, but working out of temporary tents. Although the circumstances are difficult for teachers and students, it is positive to see some sense of normality returning for the students.
