2011 is the first year SERVE is embarking on the epic cross-country Malin2Mizen Solidarity Cycle organised from 22nd to 28th May 2011. We are delighted to say that we have our six cyclists: Conal McCullagh, Terry McCabe, Kevin Mc Guigan, Joe McKeown, Bríd De Bhail, Liam Warden.

Beneficiaries of SERVE Houses, Brazil

SERVE, with support from Misean Cara, the Edmund Rice Trust and Electric Aid, have helped develop an educational facility for 40 teenage girls adjacent to Muvamba secondary school in Mozambique. The “Bairro Das Criancas” building provides a kitchen, dining room, study and library rooms, sanitary facilities and accommodation for supervisors. The project has led to an old and disused building that was destroyed in the Civil War being used to improve access to education for vulnerable teenage girls in Muvamba.
