9. Home for People with Leprosy
Tackling the stigmatization associated with leprosy requires innovative programmes. Helping families afflicted by leprosy to be integrated into ordinary community life is an important goal. In Bangalore, a public-private partnership working to build simple family homes, to address the huge housing shortage, is also pioneering an initiative to allocate 10% of new housing to leprosy afflicted families.
