Colaiste Cois Life: Immersion Project to South Africa and Mozambique

A group of fifteen students and five teachers from Colaiste Cois Life, Dublin, have returned from their immersion project in South Africa and Mozambique. The group spent two weeks with SERVE’s partners Tapologo, Tsholofelo and Young Africa, volunteering with development projects and learning about development issues facing young people in Southern Africa. The ambassador to Mozambique,Ruairí de Búrca, visited the group in Beira and said that ‘it is gratifying that through the work of SERVE and volunteers such as those from Colaiste Cois Life… that Ireland can play its part in supporting their work.’

SERVE will continue to support our partners and to create opportunities for young people to experience and learn about development issues through our immersion projects. Click here if you would like to learn more, or if your school would like to get involved.
