Frequented Asked Questions

SERVE is funded by generous donations from multiple sources. These are  – community and online fundraising campaigns, regular giving and standing order donations, volunteer fundraisers throughout Ireland, as well as grants from major donors, trusts and foundations.

SERVE has strong funding relationships with Irish Aid, Electric Aid, RIS, JP McManus Charitable Fund and the European Union. SERVE is one of only 24 organisations who receive Civil Society Funding from Irish Aid for its priority Development Programme with Young Africa in Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

All donations are used as “seed capital” to get matching funds from donors.

With your generosity, we can continue to fund sustainable development programmes such as TVET scholarships and micro credit loans for young people in Mozambique and Zimbabwe, invest in skills training and educational equipment to combat youth unemployment, support disability awareness programmes in Bangalore India, and support community and educational development projects in Zambia and the Philippines. Your donations also help us to cover our expenses and running costs, from updating our website to paying electricity bills.
